CZ Points Out That Bank of America’s Fine of $1.2 Billion Is Unfair, Claims the World Is Unjust
In an exclusive interview with PIVOT, CZ discussed his decision to voluntarily go to the U.S. to plead guilty and pay the fine, stating that he does not want to be a fugitive or evade issues. He pointed out that Binance was only involved in registration-related violations, with no fraud or victims, and that users have always been well protected. He mentioned that Bank of America recently faced more serious violations yet was only fined $1.2 billion and not prosecuted, believing that the world is inherently unfair. However, he emphasized that he is no longer preoccupied with this and is focused on moving forward, learning from experiences to do more positive things.
