Toss and KOMSCO Complete Blockchain Payment Settlement Concept Verification
Korean payment company Toss and the Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation (KOMSCO) have completed a full-process concept verification of blockchain payment for the "Local Love Voucher" on the OP Stack. This verification allows for recharge, consumption, and settlement to be completed in a single blockchain transaction, enabling merchants to receive funds instantly without waiting for traditional settlement cycles. The test was conducted in an independent testing environment and has not yet been launched; both parties have not announced a formal launch timeline.
